Margao: Ugem Rising Club are champions of the Cavelossim Panchayat cup 2025 as they defeated Navelim villagers Union 5-3 via the tiebreaker in the finals played at Fr. Druston & Wellington ground Cavelossim on Saturday.
Both teams played attacking soccer and couldn’t break the deadlock till the final whistle and played a goalless draw and the winner was decided by way of a penalty shootout.
In the resultant tiebreaker, Ugem Rising club found the net through Macson D’costa, Handlee Carvalho Rutik Bandodkar, Austin Couthino and Israel Gomes while Nash Pereira, Ronaldo Pereira and Noah Luis were on target for Navelim villagers Union
