REIS MAGOS: The body of an unidentified male, aged around 45 years, was recovered from the waters near Deltin Jetty at Reis Magos on Wednesday evening.
Police said that at around 6.57 p.m., PCR Panaji informed about a body floating near the jetty. A police team rushed to the spot and, with the assistance of the fire services, retrieved the body.
A scene of unnatural death (UD) panchanama was conducted, and the body has been shifted to GMC Morgue, Bambolim, for preservation and medico-legal formalities.
