BAMBOLIM: A male patient identified only as Ranjeet Kushitta, approximately 30 years old, passed away in the ICU of Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, late on July 9, 2025. His identity and address remain unknown, and authorities are actively trying to trace his relatives.
According to information received from the GMC Casualty Police via wireless message at 11:01 p.m., the man had been undergoing treatment under MLC No. 25/6291 since July 6, 2025. He was initially found unconscious at Desainagar, Sankhalim and was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Sankhalim by an EMRI 108 ambulance. He was later referred to GMC Bambolim for further medical care.
Despite efforts, the patient succumbed to his condition in the ICU. During the investigation, police circulated a combined impute form and wireless message to all police stations across Goa, sharing available details in an effort to identify the deceased and notify his family.
The case is currently under investigation by Lady PSI Sonali Harmalkar of Bicholim Police Station. Legal formalities are being followed, and efforts are ongoing to establish the man’s full identity and next of kin.
Authorities have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that may help in identifying the deceased.
