KULEM: A tragic incident unfolded at Kulem Railway Station when an unidentified male, aged between 35 to 40 years, was found dead at Platform No. II on Friday.
Upon receiving information from PSI Sadanand Dessai of Collem Police Station, railway police officials visited the scene and conducted all necessary legal formalities. The deceased, whose residential details remain unknown, is suspected to be a beggar or ragpicker and is believed to have succumbed to illness, as no foul play has been detected.
The body has been preserved at SGDH Hospital, Margao, for identification purposes. Vasco Railway Police Station has registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 of BNS. Further investigation is being carried out by PI Amarnath Passi of Vasco Railway PS.
