Margao: An unidentified man, believed to be around 60 years old, was found lying unconscious near Sai Darbar, Station Road, Margao, and was later declared dead at the South Goa District Hospital (SGDH).
Police said the deceased appeared to be a beggar who had been living by the roadside in the area for the past few months. No external injuries were found on the body, and no foul play is suspected at this stage.
The body has been preserved at the SGDH morgue for medico-legal formalities and identification. Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Subhash Gaonkar of Margao Town Police Station.
