VASCO: Union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrashekar on Tuesday said that Goa had tremendous scope for startups
Chandrashekhar, who arrived to Goa on Tuesday afternoon, was speaking to reporters in the presence of MP Vinay Tendulkar, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, GSIDC Vice Chairman Deepak Naik and other BJP leaders who had arrived to welcome him upon arrival at Goa Airport
“Goa has tremendous scope for IT and start-ups, and I have already met the IT minister and many senior ministers in the Government. We are working very actively to create a robust ecosystem in Goa for Startups and Entrepreneurship. The vision of PM Narendra Modi is that every young Indian should get an opportunity to do a job or get into self-employment through micro Entrepreneurship, and this is our main objective. We are working towards this,” said Chandrashekhar.
“I am here for a two-day visit where we will meet party karyakarta and take feedback from them, and this is called the Pravas initiative. As far as the data privacy bill is concerned, we have put a new draft which is out for consideration, and I advise the people to read it and share any issue that they may have with us,” said Chandrashekhar.
