PANAJI: In a dominant display, United SC Seraulim set the tone for the 1st Vauradencho Ixtt Trophy 2025 by defeating Wilred Leisure Curtorim 3-0 in the inaugural match. The game, held at the DSYA ground in Curtorim on Tuesday, was marked by a stellar performance from Nayab Khan, who scored a brace, and a decisive goal from Dickson Ragtao. The tournament’s inauguration, led by Fr. Anthony Joseph Fernandes, highlighted the strong community and religious support behind the event.
United SC Seraulim’s victory was a testament to their team’s cohesion and skill. The match saw Nayab Khan score crucial goals in the 33rd and 43rd minutes, setting the stage for a comfortable win. Dickson Ragtao sealed the deal with a goal in the 59th minute, ensuring a clean 3-0 victory for USC Seraulim. Ragtao’s impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award, presented by Fr. Joseph Fernandes of Pilar Society.
