MARGAO: Unjirim United club blank Pidadigal sports club 7-0 to enter into the quarterfinals of Batora United 9-a-side football tournament Organised by Batora United and played at St.Alex Church Ground Curtorim.
It was a one-sided affair on the ground and Unjirim United outplayed Pidadigal SC in all departments of play and fired 3 goals in the first session of play and 4 goals in the second session of play.
Unjirim United scored a brace by Roswin Dias in the 7th and 44th minutes of play while Valroy Antao in the 30th and 45th minutes of play then Daniel Menezes, Floyd Antao and Floyd Luis also added their names to the scoresheet in the 25th,50th and 55th minutes of play.
Pidadigal Sports Club tried hard to reduce the margin but all efforts went in vain
Roswin Dias of Unjirim United was man of the match presented by Conceicao Fernandes club member.
