CANACONA: An unknown male person aged in between 45-50 years, is found Canacona police said they received a call from the 108 Emergency Services staff informing that a man was lying by the roadside near Babas Little Itali Bar and Restaurant at Palolem.
The person was then shifted to the Canacona Community Health Centre, where a doctor on duty declared him dead on arrival.
A man in his mid-forties was found dead by the roadside at Palolem beach.
Police made enquiries with locals who were unable to identify the man, who was in his mid-forties, about 5.6 feet in height, fair in complexion and medium in build.
According to sources, the man was seen for the last 4-5 days doing some odd jobs in an around Palolem and nobody knew from where he came and where he was staying.
Police registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 BNSS and sent the body to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao for identification and medico legal formalities. Canacona PSI Ajit Velip is conducting further investigation.-
