ANJUNA: Anjuna Police has registered an offence based on the complaint of Siolim MLA. Delilah Lobo.
According to the complaint, on October 21, 2025, at the government work site located at Survey No. 41/3 in Anjuna village, a group of persons — identified as Traver Athaide, Ranjeet Parsekar, Michael Queriz, Maxi D’Souza, Desmond Alvares, Ana Fernandes, Jawish Moniz and others — allegedly formed an unlawful assembly and trespassed into the site without permission.
The accused are said to have obstructed government work being carried out under a work order issued by the Water Resources Department (WRD), Porvorim, and wrongfully restrained the labourers engaged at the site.
Police have registered an offence for unlawful assembly, criminal trespass, and wrongful restraint. Further investigation is underway under PSI Viraj V. Naik.
