PONDA: The Usgao Circle to Tisk Usgao road, a stretch of 2 km, has become a danger zone due to potholes and bushes growing up at the roadside, which blocks the front view.
Locals say it has become a death trap and needs urgent restoration, as four to five people are injured every day after felling into potholes.
Rohan Naik, a daily commuter, said before any untoward incident, the Panchayat and PWD should repair those roads.
The road around Usgao Circle has been in the worst condition and has become a hot spot for the accident due to huge craters.
He said the potholes were repaired by Jetpatcher Machine two months ago; however, the potholes have developed again.
Nilesh Gaude said the Usgao Circle to Tisk Usgao the road has turned into the worst condition with potholes and craters and demanded urgent restoration of roads for safety of bikers and other motorists.
