VASCO:
A vaccination centre has been established by Indian Navy at Naval auditorium ( Rajhans Theater) on Airport Road, Dabolim to augment the efforts of state administration in vaccinating the populace of Goa against COVID19. The vaccination centre would be operational from 9AM to 4PM on all days except Sundays. Beneficiaries can register through COWIN portal or walk-in for an on the spot registration. Presently, vaccination is open for age category 45 years and above only.
Speaking to media surgeon commandant Hari said that the Navy had taken up the vaccination centrer to cater to all people from south goa and decongest the workload on Ravindra Bhavan vaccination centre
” The centre is presently taking up vaccination of 45 plus group and in a week , if government issues directives, than we will start vaccination of 18 plus age group as well. This centre is a state of art vaccination centre with three seperate areas for registration with queue management system, vaccination booths ( two booths ) area and a seperate observational area after vaccination . This area can cater to atleast 500 people at a time everyday and we request all people of Vasco and South Goa to utilize this facility so that Navy can also join hands in the fight against Corona ” said Commandant Hari
