BONDLA: The Bondla Ecotourism Site is set for major upgrades with the foundation stone laid for a series of development works aimed at enhancing facilities for both visitors and wildlife.
The projects were launched by Deputy Conservator of Forests (North & Wildlife) Jiss Varkey.
The upcoming works include state-of-the-art enclosures, secure fencing, improved drainage systems and a modern walk-in aviary.
Officials said these facilities are designed to provide a safer, more engaging and sustainable environment for the animals as well as tourists visiting Bondla Zoo.
Authorities said the new developments mark an important step in strengthening eco-tourism in Goa while also reflecting the state’s commitment to conservation, sustainability and biodiversity.
