VASCO: Bus operators in Vasco have strongly criticized the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) contractor responsible for the ongoing flyover construction, citing dangerous road conditions that pose serious risks to commuters.
Operators allege that the project has left roads riddled with potholes and lacking basic maintenance, making it increasingly hazardous for passenger buses to operate safely. Despite repeated representations to the concerned authorities, they claim no corrective action has been taken.
“Passengers hold drivers accountable, but the real problem lies in the deteriorating condition of the roads,” said one of the operators.
Demanding urgent intervention, the operators have called on the authorities to undertake immediate repairs and improve road safety measures to prevent further inconvenience and potential accidents linked to the delayed flyover work.
