VASCO: Vasco police and the Kerala police, in its joint operation, arrested one person involved in an alleged dupping case in Kerala for looting Rs.1.8 lakh cash and 400 grams of gold ornament by frequently posing as an Income tax officer.
As per the information given by Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Vasco, some days ago, a group of six persons fraudulent posed as income tax officers in Kerala and dupped a person by seizing Rs.1.8 lakh cash and 400-gram gold ornaments.
On Thursday, Vasco police, along with the Kerala Police, in their joint operation, managed to capture Maulali Sheikh, a resident of Mangor hill-Vasco and two other persons at large.
The arrested person was later handed over to Ernakulam, Kerala Police on Thursday,” DySP Kumar added.
