VASCO: Vasco Police have arrested one Doctor Namely Dr, Shamshuddin Sayad (age 39) for sexually Assaulting one 14 years old Minor boy at Different Occasion.
Sources at the Vasco police station said that teb boy was a patient with the doctor practicing near Joggers park in Chicalim but the doctor assaulted the minor boy sexually on many occasions including unnatural sex
The minor child is believed to have confided with the parents who later approached an NGO who subsequently got the issue before the Vasco police.
Upon receiving the complain Vasco police arrested Dr. Shamshuddin on 14Th March.
The accused doctor later on 15 th March he has been taken on 5 Days police custody after producing him in Court. According to Police Dr. Shamshuddin Sayad stays in Dabolim and he is practicing in a Clinic at Chicalim
The Vasco police have arrested the accused doctor under sections 4,6,8 and 10 of POCSO Act and sections 8 (2) and 8(9) of the children act .
Further investigation is being carried out under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak under the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam
