Vasco police in a daring operation have on Wednesday rescued a 13 year old Vasco based Girl from a hostile location in Delhi.
Sources in Vasco police said that the girl with another 18 year old boy had left from Margao and boarded a train Mangala Express on 28th March to Delhi
” Though attempts were made to check the train at Ratnagiri, both managed to give the authorities a slip. However after reaching Delhi, the girl called her friend to inform that she had reached safely, while the boy called his friend for financial help. Vasco police on information immediately swung in action and left for Delhi by an early Wednesday morning flight and rescued the girl in Delhi . The location was very hostile and is a slum area at multani mohalla, geeta colony new delhi.
The local police appreciated the daring act Vasco police
got both the persons back to Vasco police station . The 18year old boy ,identified as Manoj Kumar ,a native of UP but a resident of Vasco has been placed under arrest and further investigation is underway ” said the source
