KULEM: A 32-year-old man from Vasco drowned in a water body at Kulem while on an outing with friends.
The deceased, identified as Anand Belegal, a resident of Shantinagar, had reportedly gone to the site with three friends when he went missing under mysterious circumstances.
Search operations were launched soon after his disappearance was reported.
His body was recovered on Friday morning.
Sources informed that a post-mortem examination is being conducted at the Margao Hospital to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Local authorities are investigating the incident.
