VERNA: The Verna Police on Wednesday arrested a 35 year old Stanley Carlos Coutinho , a resident of Calangute and recovered a Stolen Honda Dio Scooter (GA.06.Y.6783).
Verna police had on Tuesday ,registered an offence under sections 303 (2) of BNS upon the complaint of Imran Siddiqui ,a resident of Housing Board Consua, Upas Nagar Cortalim.
Siddiqui had stated that on 15th August, some unknown person had committed theft of Honda dio scooter bearing (GA-06-Y-6783 ) worth RS 87000/-. which was parked at open place in front of friends chinese hotel.
Verna police on Wednesday arrested Stanley Coutinho in this regard and also recovered the stolen bike.
ASI Paresh V Fal Dessai of Verna Police station is carrying out further investigation under the supervision of PI Melson Colaco and guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
