VERNA: Verna Police Station’s Head Constable Videsh Naik was awarded the Chief Minister’s Police Gold Medal for excellence in service during the Goa Liberation Day celebrations. The prestigious medal was presented by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant at a grand function in Panjim on Thursday.
Naik, who has dedicated 24 years to police service, has served in various police stations, including Vasco and Verna. Over his illustrious career, he has played a key role in solving numerous crimes, including murder cases, house-breaking thefts, and narcotics-related offenses.
Known for his commitment and expertise, Naik has been instrumental in several high-profile crime detections, earning respect and recognition within the police force and the community.
