PANAJI: The Goa Sessions Court on Wednesday allowed the intervention application filed by victim Rama Kankonkar in the bail plea of accused Zenito Cardozo.
Both the prosecution and the counsel representing Zenito did not oppose the intervention request made by the victim. Following this, the court directed Rama Kankonkar to file her written say by tomorrow.
The court has scheduled the arguments on the bail application of Zenito Cardozo for the day after tomorrow.
Cardozo, who is currently in judicial custody, is facing charges in connection with a case that has drawn significant local attention.
