New Delhi: India’s historic triumph in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup sparked celebrations across the country, with political leaders and prominent figures congratulating the team for their remarkable achievement.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the squad for their outstanding performance throughout the tournament, describing the victory as a reflection of exceptional skill, determination and teamwork. India secured the title with a commanding 96 run win over the New Zealand national cricket team at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The victory made India the first team to successfully defend the T20 World Cup title while also claiming a record third crown.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the team, calling it a proud moment for the nation and praising the players for their consistent performances and fighting spirit throughout the tournament.
