Porvorim: Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week on the theme “Our Shared Responsibility” at a function organised by the Directorate of Vigilance at the Seminar Hall, Secretariat, Porvorim.
During the event, the Chief Secretary administered the Vigilance Awareness Week pledge to senior bureaucrats, urging them to uphold transparency and integrity in governance.
The function was attended by Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Information & Publicity) Sarpreet Singh Gill, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Revenue) Sandip Jacques, IAS, Director of Vigilance Amarsen W. Rane, Secretaries and Under Secretaries to the Government, Heads of Departments, and staff of the Vigilance Department.
The observance emphasised the collective responsibility of all public servants in combating corruption and fostering ethical governance.
