MARGAO: Days after TCP board approved inclusion of more planning areas under GPPDA, the former Minister Vijai Sardesai has alleged Rs 1000 cr scam in the extension process.
Addressing the media, Sardesai said that he alleges a Rs 1000 crore scam in the extension process.
“This is a hidden plan to create a new city at Kadamba Plateau and destroy the beauty of Old Goa which also a heritage site,” said Sardesai
He also alleged that the new waste management plant at Baiguinim is not for the capital city of Panaji but for the new city.
“Delhikaars have bought lands here and if C1 zone is made there will be buildings of 30 meters height close to Se Cathedral in Old Goa, said Vijai
Further, the former minister has demanded a complete stoppage of coal handling & transportation activities.
“double tracking of railway line is of no benefit to locals; it will only increase pollution and cause health hazard,” he added
