PANAJI: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is getting an exciting response from people of all villages and towns in Goa. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi intends to inform citizens about various schemes of government. Today this yatra is reaching out to villages and towns in Goa where people gathered for various awareness activities under this campaign.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Ponda in Goa today where people gathered in large numbers.
In Ponda, Chief Minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant, State Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik, and other dignitaries welcomed Viksit Bharat Sankalp van. People participated in virtual interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the village panchayat of Cola in South Goa district where they were showing keen interest to know about various schemes of Government like Pradhanmantri Ujjawala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana. Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material is being distributed to people during this campaign.
Health camps like checking for breast cancer, and findings of active cases of TB were organised at places of station of Viksit Bharat Sankalp vans. One of beneficiary interacted with Akashvani on the benefits of schemes by government.
