Pernem: Mandrem Police Station has registered an offence against a villa owner in Arambol for allegedly failing to submit mandatory ‘C’ Forms of foreign nationals staying at his property.
The offence was registered on 20/02/2026 at 11:00 hrs on a complaint filed on behalf of the State by PSI Paresh S/o Santosh Kale of Mandrem Police Station. As per police sources, the written complaint was discussed with the Police Inspector of Mandrem Police Station, and on his instructions, PSI Sunil Patil registered the FIR.
According to the complaint, prior to 19/02/2026 at H. No. 151, Girkarwada, Arambol, Pernem-Goa, the accused, Francesco Rodrigues, owner of Vitorino Villa, allegedly permitted six Ugandan nationals to stay at his villa on a rental basis without furnishing their details in the mandatory ‘C’ Form to the competent authority within the stipulated time.
The six foreign nationals have been identified as Ms. Sandra Namwanje, Ms. Margret Kayakuwadde, Ms. Sahara Nasanga, Ms. Phionath Mubezi Nassolo, Ms. Shanita Nansamba, and Ms. Bangi Agines Nambalirwa, all nationals of Uganda.
Police said that by failing to submit the required information, the accused allegedly contravened the provisions of Section 23(b) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
