VELSAO: Questioning the motive behind the survey, the Velsao villagers stopped a survey by the tourism department on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking to the media, Congress leader Olencio Simoes questioned why the tourism department was so desperate to demarcate/survey the boundaries without any prior notice.
Simoes said that such urgency should be put to restore our beaches which are eroded due to erosion, it clear that the tourism department has malified intension to bring back door entry of jetties or coal in our villages.
