PANAJI: St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar has resumed his protest at Azad Maidan against TCP Section 39A after being discharged from hospital following health concerns during the agitation.
Borkar was admitted to Campal Clinic Hospital after his health deteriorated during the ongoing protest. After treatment, he was discharged with doctors advising him to take adequate rest and remain well hydrated.
Despite medical advice, Borkar returned to Azad Maidan to continue the agitation against Section 39A, reiterating his stand against the controversial provision.
Sources said doctors had advised the MLA to avoid exertion and ensure proper hydration, but Borkar chose to rejoin the protest soon after his discharge.
