CANACONA: ‘We for Palolem’ organised Home-made Decor workshop as part of women empowerment at Palolem recently.
According to ‘We for Palolem’ president Gaspar Coutinho, the women empowerment mission encourages women to be self-reliant, so that women can have a positive self-esteem and generate potential.
In a day long full of fun and knowledge, various learning activities and fun games including Home made Decor workshop, was held and young girl’s were also given tips to develop their skills for future posterity. Amongst other things, Wealth out of Waste, Stocking Flowers, Paper Bags were taught to the women and girls at the day-long camp, held recently.
Francita Coutinho, Vioma D’Costa, Renzia Fernandes, Muriel Viegas, Patricia Rodrigues, Janisha Fernandes, Cassandra Fernandes were some of the women who imparted knowledge and training to the several participants through their workshop activities held at Palolem Club House.
