PANAJI: The State government today informed Bombay High court at Goa that all the issues concerning COVID management in the State, as raised by the petitioners, have been addressed by the administration.
The submission came after the division bench directed all the petitioners to coordinate themselves to prepare a chart of the issues which the court needs to intervene.
Nearly five to six different petitions were filed before the Court, right from individual or South Goa Lawyers Association to NGOs seeking Courts intervention into the mismanaged covid situation in the State.
During the hearing, the Advocate General Devidas Pangam said that no issues currently remains unaddressed as the State has taken care of all the concerns raised by the petitioners and the Court.
The matter will be heard now on June 14.
The petitioners had raised various issues including rising number of COVID deaths and shortage of oxygen supply and procurement at Goa Medical College and Hospital, lack of beds, shortage of medicine, use of Ivermectin for prophylaxis treatment, need for restrictions in form of curfew or lockdown, etc.
