MANDREM: Mandrem Police have registered an Unnatural Death (UD) case after a 29-year-old man from West Bengal was found dead at his residence early Friday morning.
According to police reports, on October 24, 2025, at around 8:58 a.m., the Mandrem Police received a written memo from the on-duty medical officer at CHC Tuem stating that one Mr. Suman Sarkar was brought dead to the casualty ward.
Preliminary enquiry revealed that the deceased, identified as Suman Sarkar, son of Khitish Sarkar, hailing from Mamudpur village, PO Dangarhat, PS Kumarganj, District Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, had dinner with his colleagues on the night of October 23 and went to sleep.
The next morning, his colleagues found him unresponsive and immediately rushed him to CHC Tuem in an EMRI 108 ambulance, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Mandrem Police have registered UD No. 44/2025 under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. Further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Jaydeep Palyekar.
