PANAJI: Priol MLA Govind Gaude today said that he will announce his future course of action on January 1.
“Whether I am joining any party or contesting as independent will be decided and announced on January 1,” said Gaude
He further said that he is not interested in who is coming and going, and his focus is only on development.
“I have worked for the people of Priol, and people know that. I have fought against the odds,” he added.
On June 11 this year, following a meeting with Ravi and another BJP national general secretary BL Santosh, Gaude had said that he was ready to join the saffron party if its officials made him an offer.
On June 18 this year, he also said that he would contest as an independent MLA if the BJP ties up with the BJP for the assembly polls.
