PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that Goa is the first state to establish a pioneering Task Force Committee dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our medical professionals.
“Goa is the first state to establish a pioneering Task Force Committee dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our medical professionals,” said Rane.
He further said that this decision comes in the wake of the tragic incident in Kolkata and aligns with the Supreme Court’s guidelines. Chaired by Dr. S M Bandekar, Dean of Goa Medical College, this committee will comprise key stakeholders from various departments and organizations.
“We are committed to expediting the implementation of GARD’s demands, including enhanced surveillance, improved lighting and increased security presence,” he added
Minister said that his goal is to create a safe environment for all medical professionals and we will work tirelessly to achieve this.
“Goa will set a benchmark for the nation, and I assure you that we will leave no stone unturned in safeguarding our medical community,” Rane added.
