DABOLIM: Newly appointed MoS Power Shripad Naik has promised to raise public awareness of the advantages of the Tamnar project.
Speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Goa, Naik said that he would use his power department to the state’s greatest advantage.
“I will use my new role as the Union Minister of State for Power to ensure that Goa and its residents receive the greatest possible benefits. Since energy is a fundamental requirement for any state’s development, we will examine the power requirements of the state,” said Naik.
He further said that he would also dispel people’s misconceptions about the Tamnar Project since only positive energy can result in significant advancements.
“With the help of the state and federal governments, we must band together to elevate Goa,” stated Naik.
Naik expressed his gratitude to the people of Goa for helping him win the Lok Sabha elections by a significant margin.
“With the blessings of the people, I have been appointed as the Minister of State for Power.” I have been the minister for several departments in the past, and the people have consistently supported and believed in me over the years.
Naik stated, “I want to let the people know that I will be here to help them and that I will continue to work for them.”
