Panaji: Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister Vishwajit Rane on Wednesday announced that the government will soon release a white paper detailing land conversions carried out in the state.
Rane stated that during his tenure as TCP Minister, approximately 16-17 lakh square meters of land have been converted. In comparison, he highlighted that prior to his term, around 1.50 crore square meters were converted, including 9.5 crore square meters during the tenure of the previous Congress government.
The white paper is expected to provide a comprehensive overview and transparency regarding land use changes in Goa.
