With the monsoons at its peak, the COVID19 is spreading uncontrollably in the State as 198 cases were registered on Wednesday and the recovery was just 67.
The Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, at Cabinet press briefing, said that the experts had warned that the COVID19 would be at its peak with monsoons.
“We expect the number to be on higher side for the next one week as the monsoon is t its peak. I urge all Goans to take all precautions and stay home,” he said.
As per the bulletin the State now has 1259 active cases with 18 fatalities.
The total now is 2951 confirms cases, and 1674 recoveries.
On Wednesday, 6064 samples tested, from which 2374 were negative, 198 positive and 3492.reports are awaited.
