Colva: Colva police have registered a case against ten persons following a complaint by a woman alleging house trespass, assault and outraging of modesty at her residence on Tuesday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred on March 4 at around 8:30 am when the complainant (name withheld) was present at her house within the jurisdiction of Colva Police Station.
As per the complaint, the main accused, Franky Dias, allegedly broke open the back door of the house and forcibly entered while holding a koita. He allegedly inappropriately touched the complainant’s chest, pushed her, abused her in filthy language, threatened her to vacate the house and punched her on the chest.
Police said that nine other persons — Suka Sunil Rodrigues, Amita Naik, Nacimenta Rodrigues, Tina Fernandes, Minguel Caitan Rodrigues, Esparos Fernandes, Rosaline Fernandes, Perpetual Fernandes and Maria Satan Fernandes — also allegedly forced their way into the house and joined the main accused.
The complainant alleged that the accused persons inappropriately touched her chest, tore her kurta and assaulted her, with one of the accused slapping her. The group also allegedly abused the complainant in filthy language and threatened her to vacate the house.
Colva police have registered an offence in the matter.
