Margao: The Fatorda Police are investigating a serious case of sexual assault and rape reported by a resident of Mapusa.
According to the complaint, the alleged incidents took place between November 1, 2023, and September 1, 2025, at Pajifond, Margao.
The complainant stated that four individuals — Raj Prashant Thakur of Dona Pula, and Anthony D’Souza, Siddharth Kambli, and Jyoti Nagvekar, all residents of Mapusa — conspired to deceive her under the pretext of offering employment.
The complainant alleged that Anthony D’Souza, Siddharth Kambli, and Jyoti Nagvekar convinced her to join a job with Raj Prashant Thakur, who, on multiple occasions at Pajifond, allegedly asked her to remove her clothes under the guise of a medical examination, recorded obscene videos and photos of her, and later threatened to make them public.
She further alleged that Raj Prashant Thakur forcibly had sexual intercourse with her, thereby committing rape.
The case is under investigation by PSI Satvashil Devidas of Fatorda Police Station.
