CANDOLIM: A 39-year-old woman was found lying unconscious near Chavan Guest House at Aradi, Candolim, on November 11, 2025, following which police initiated an inquiry into the incident.
According to the police, a PCR call was received around 4:04 pm reporting that a woman was lying unconscious near the guest house. On arrival, police identified the deceased as Soni Sanjay Rathod, resident of Aradi, Candolim, and native of Kailash Giri Nagar, Jeevan Baug, Old Post Office Road, Thane, Maharashtra.
Preliminary enquiry revealed that the woman was found lying on the staircase of the premises. Police stated that no foul play is suspected at this stage, and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Saieel Vaigankar of Calangute Police Station.
