COLVA: Colva police have registered a cheating case following a complaint by Arpan Sadhu, a native of Jammu & Kashmir presently residing in Mumbai, who alleged he was duped by a woman posing as a professional masseuse. The complainant stated that on September 27, 2025, between 9.30 pm and 10.00 pm, a woman identified as Sandhya Khatun, resident of Colva and native of Telangana, claimed to be a certified body massager and initially demanded ₹7,000 for her services. However, upon visiting the complainant, it was revealed that she was not a professional. She then changed her charges to ₹20,000, which the complainant transferred to her bank account through GPay. Police said the woman thereby cheated the complainant, and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Manju Vantamuri of Colva Police Station.
