PRATAPNAGAR: In a suspected case of murder, the body of a young woman was discovered under mysterious circumstances in a forested area at Pratapnagar, Tisk-Usgaon in Dharbandora taluka early Monday morning.
According to police sources, the woman appears to be between 24 and 30 years old. Her body was found deep inside the forest, triggering immediate response from Ponda police and forensic experts who reached the spot to begin investigation.
Police officials have not ruled out foul play and said that the circumstances suggest it could be a case of murder. The woman’s identity is yet to be established, and further forensic examination is awaited to determine the cause of death.
Authorities are appealing for any information that could help identify the deceased or assist in the investigation.
