Calangute: As part of the ongoing Village Development Programs from 2nd Octoberto 16th October, a Women Empowerment Training Program was successfully conducted for the women of Calangute Constituency. A total of 64 women enthusiastically participated in the session aimed at enhancing their confidence, leadership skills, and self-reliance.
Sarpanch Mr. Joseph Sequeira welcomed all the participants and encouraged them to participate with a positive mindset. In his address, he emphasized that this program is a brainchild of Mr. Premanand Diukar who is Project Coordinator, her further conveyed his best wishes and expressed happiness over the active involvement of women in such empowering initiatives. He also extended a warm welcome to the distinguished trainers from JCI India Mr. Sachin Kurtikar (Head Coach), Mrs. Sharmila Valavalkar (National Trainer), Adv. Mamta Naik, and Adv. Neelam Narvekar.
The participants appreciated the engaging and interactive training sessions conducted by the JCI trainers, describing it as a valuable experience of learning with fun. The program concluded with positive feedback and enthusiasm to participate in future development initiatives.
