CANACONA – The Goa Athletics Association and World Kids Athletics in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of India and Decathlon, Calangute, Bardez. Celebrates World Kids Athletic Day on Monday 22nd April 2024 at Athletic
Stadium, Bambolim from 2.30 pm onwards.
The day is celebrated with Athletic events for U-8, (born on or after 23/04/16), U-10 (born on or after 23/04/14), U-12 (born on or after 23/04/12) and U-14 years (born on or after 23/04/10) in Boys and Girls Section.
For U-8, the events are 50 Mmtr Run, Tennis Ball Throw, Standing Broad Jump and For U-10, 60 Mtrs Run, Standing Broad Jump and Back Throw 1kg.
The events for U-12 are 80 Mtr Run, Kids Javelin and Long Jump; while for U-14, 100 Mtr Run, Shot Put and Long Jump will be events.
Interested Athlete should send their entry on Google form to Ms. Desiree Pereira
Mrs. Sonali Shetyekar, Mrs. Minakshi Karapurkar and Mr. Gangaram Lambor by 19/04/2024. There is no entry fee. All the participants will be awarded prizes, states a press note issued by Goa Athletics Association Honorary Secretary Surendra Naik.
