CANACONA: Minister for Tribal Welfare, Sports & Youth Affairs and Art & Culture, Ramesh Tawadkar, urged the youth to embrace determination, consistency, and good company as guiding principles in their journey of nation-building. He was speaking at a Yuva Sammelan organised on the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti at Adarsh Gram Amone (Poinguinim), jointly hosted by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs and Adarsh Yuva Sangh.
Tawadkar said that both Adarsh Yuva Sangh and Lokotsav have emerged as national models of inspiration, and similarly, the spread of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s ideals at the grassroots in Goa is now being acknowledged across the country. “Youth are the real force of nation-building. Let us join hands to realise the vision of a prosperous Canacona,” he said.
Highlighting the importance of proper guidance, he stated, “It is crucial to steer the youth in the right direction while instilling self-respect and sensitivity. For meaningful social transformation, youth energy must be channelised constructively.”
