PANAJI: The ‘Yuva Srujan Puraskar’ (Navasarjan – Chetna Puraskar) is one of the schemes of the department of Art and Culture under which the young talents from Goa who have excelled and given extraordinary contribution in their respective field of Art and Culture are honored by the government.
The scheme intends to give recognition to the young Goan artists par excellence for their outstanding achievements in the field by presenting them Yuva Srujan Puraskar.
This year total six youth personalities are selected for the said award. The awardees shall be honored with a memento, certificate of appreciation and a financial purse to the extent of Rs. 25,000/- per awardee. Soccoro Rebelo in the field of Tiatr from Salcete Taluka, Shri Vignesh Govind Naik, in the field of Folk Art Bhajan and Drama, from Ponda Taluka, Ms. Namrata Laxmikant Naik and Shri Kemraj Pandurang Pilgaonkar, in the field of Drama, from Ponda and Tiswadi Taluka, respectively. Shri Sagar Suresh Naik Mulewill be presented the Yuva Srujan Puraskar in the field of Visual Art from Ponda, Taluka and Shri Rama Baburai Kurtikar in the field of Folk Art, from Ponda Taluka
Yuva Srujan Puraskar (Navasarjan-Chetna Puraskar) will be presented to the awardees at a special function to be organized by the department by the Department of Art and Culture.
