ZUARINAGAR: Residents of Zuarinagar near MES College, Dabolim, held a protest rally against the growing issue of road encroachments by shopkeepers and commercial establishments. They alleged that illegal extensions are eating into the road space, forcing vehicles to park on the road and severely hampering traffic flow and pedestrian movement. Holding banners and raising slogans, the protesters demanded immediate action from authorities to clear the encroachments. They also expressed concerns over large-scale mega projects coming up in the area, stating that these have made their lives miserable due to increased congestion, pollution, and strain on basic infrastructure and civic amenities.
