According to an ETAuto report, the state government’s decision is a part of its endeavour to cut down Goa’s carbon footprint. Oh, and the amount of total subsidies offered annually will be capped at ₹25 crore.
According to the draft scheme, the state government will provide subsidies to 10,000 electric two wheelers, not exceeding 鈧10 crore per year, to 500 electric three-wheelers, not exceeding ₹1crore, and to about 500 electric cars, not exceeding ₹14 crore.
