COLVA: Colva Police have registered a case following a complaint by Pritam Ashok Vaid, a resident of Colva, alleging that a group of persons trespassed into his property, assaulted him and damaged property during a dispute.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred at around 2.20 pm on September 30, 2026, at Colva. The accused have been identified as Ravi Shetty, Sangita Gawda and Prabhakar Gawada, along with 12 other unidentified persons.
The complainant alleged that the accused formed an unlawful assembly in front of his residence while allegedly carrying deadly weapons. They allegedly broke open the main entrance door of the compound wall and entered the property where the complainant was residing.
The group allegedly assaulted Vaid with deadly weapons, causing bodily injuries, and damaged the main entrance door and other property in front of the house. The complainant also alleged that the accused threatened him with dire consequences.
Police stated that the alleged incident was connected to an existing property dispute.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Prathamesh Mahale of Colva Police Station.
