PANAJI: Goa today reported 265 new COVID-19 positive cases. While there were 167 recoveries and 1 death reported.
As per DHS health bulletin, 1 patient succumbed to the virus at GMC. The patient was referred to GMC in view of persistent dyspnea despite treatment and the patient having low oxygen saturation. The Rapid antigen test on admission at GMC was positive for covid infection. Despite optimum treatment the patient succumbed to the infection.
Meanwhile, the total death tally is 835, the samples tested in the last 24 hours is 2057 and the active cases are now 2207.
