CANACONA – In a head-on collusion between two motorbikes, two riders were seriously injured at near Char-rasta on Monday morning.
According to sources, an Activa Scooter bearing registration number GA-10 D-2617 was proceeding o the road, while a Hero Honda Splendour bearing registration number GA-10 D-0289 coming in opposite direction, when on reaching Canacona Municipality Office (previous Dhillon Hospital) both the bikes collided head-on and both the riders were thrown off their respective bikes.
It is learnt one of the two was turning towards Municipal Office, and the other catching the opposite rider to hit his bike head-on.
One of the riders whose name is provided as Mohanlal was heavily bleeding and was lifted in an unconscious state into the ambulance while Lingu alias Mahesh Gaonkar lying on the road badly Injured were both brought to Canacona Community Health Centre.
Both were reportedly immediately shifted to South Goa District Hospital in an ambulance.
It is learnt one of two is very serious as both are rushed to District Hospital, Margao.
Due to the impact, the front side of Activa Scooter has almost mutilated.
